Parliament Moving To Marbella – the famous building in London is in dire need of repair, and MPs are now planning to relocate to Spain whilst the work is completed
Parliament Moving To Marbella
Original plans to move the British parliament to Northampton or Hull at a cost of 4 billion pounds have now been scrapped, as MPs are considering a move to Marbella instead. The Houses Of Parliament are in desperate need of repair, and the government have been considering various options. Big Ben has already been removed for repair work.
Tony Thriftwhistle is the UK’s head of Parliament Relocations, he says “Moving to Marbella makes a lot of sense. Property is cheaper there than in the UK. Well, I mean the nice parts of the UK. Hull would be cheap, but no one wants to go there. Flights to Marbella are cheaper than putting limos to London through expenses accounts. Food is cheaper in Spain and MPs will not run up huge bar bills because a carton of red wine only costs 99 cents”.
A Permanent Move
Some MPs have even suggested making the move to Marbella a permanent one. Joan Vash is the MP for South Pittsmore, she told Costa Del Sol Update “Getting Parliament to Marbella will be easy enough, but once Brexit happens it could make it very difficult for MPs to return. We should seriously consider staying in Marbella permanently. It makes sense in the long run. I hear that wine costs less than milk in Spain.”
