Spain Definitely Possibly Set For Second Lockdown

Spain is reeling from the news that the country will enter lockdown for the second time, on the 18th of September.  Despite the Spanish government repeatedly saying this isn’t true, and common sense suggesting that it would be impossible to predict such a specific date, many people continue to be worried by the prospect of another lockdown.

Conflicting reports in the media have led to many fearing the worst.  Expat Cliff Walker, originally from Birmingham, says “Actually I’m not from Birmingham, I’m from Handsworth Wood.  It’s hard to know who to believe.  On the one hand, you have the people in government who would make these decisions.  On the other you have my neighbour Alan who knows someone who has a cousin who’s next door neighbour is with the Guardia Civil and knows for sure that the second lockdown will start in September.  It’s going to be disastrous for the country”.

Mad Scientist

Carlos Locuro is a fully qualified scientist (according to his website) with many debunked theories to his name. His latest YouTube video offers insight into the planned second lockdown along with evidence of questionable validity. But people still believe him.

Doctors And Scientists Predict Lockdown

Scientists and doctors on YouTube and Facebook continue to present fabricated evidence of a second lockdown.  Fernando Falso from the Andalucian Regional Safety Executive says the lockdown will probably definitely happen  “There is a 75% chance of a 100% likelihood of a second lockdown.  It’s definitely happening, probably.  There are anonymous sources and YouTube scientists who have compelling evidence and a small amount of credibility who are saying it’s going to happen. You can’t argue with that”

Despite repeated reassurances from the Spanish government, many are still convinced that the second wave is about to hit.  Sandra is a virus containment expert from Facebook, she says “I heard about someone who had a flight cancelled.  If that isn’t evidence of a second wave coming and a new lockdown on the 18th of September then I don’t know what is”.

Second Lockdown Could be Too Much To Handle

Some expats are concerned that a second lockdown could be too confusing for the general public to handle.  Anne Fernandez runs a support group for outraged expats on Facebook.  She says “I’m outraged, so are my members.  A second lockdown would give people even more time to watch YouTube videos telling them that the virus isn’t real and face masks are just about government control.  Though to be honest, it is hard to recognise people with masks on.  In the office, I have to wear a red bandanna and Judy wears a polka dot sarong just so that people can tell us apart”.

Stew Pidd

Stew Pidd thinks this is fake news.

Stew Pidd is a Brexit supporter and believes that this is just fake news.  He says “anything I don’t understand is fake news, especially jokes I don’t get or don’t like.  This is obviously fake news.  They need us more than we need them.  Big up Boris.  Brexit is best!”.
